Wrestling team to host rival Northwest Mounties Wednesday
The wrestling team is off to an excellent start this season.
The Panthers are 14-4 and three of their four losses have been to state ranked opponents.
These guys have been working hard and are on a mission to win the
conference this year.
"Our only loss in the league was to Mason, 39-34," Coach Greg Hoffman said. "Mason has had a strangle hold on the CAAC the last six or more years.
The team is hosting *Northwest* on Wednesday and would love to have a big
crowd to cheer on the boys. Wrestling begins at 6 p.m.
Please come out and support the wrestling team.

Competitive opportunities available for out-of-season athletes
Schedules of meets for the Michigan Indoor Track Series and the Michigan High School Power Lifting Association can be found outside Coach Sponsler's classroom door.
These events can give athletes not currently in a sport an opportunity to focus their training and gauge their progress.
"If you go and compete, let it be a part of your overall training," Coach Sponsler said. "It's too easy to pull a muscle by blasting through a 200m when you haven't run since October."
