Jackson County Rose Festival

For 54 years, the Jackson County Rose Festival has hosted one of the most prestigious pageants in the state of Michigan. The Jackson County RoseQueen Scholarship pageant program has offered one of the highest scholarship awards in the state and we rank second nationally. Our contestants can earn anywhere from $500-$1000 if they are one of the top 10 finalist that move to the RoseQueen Pageant in August, and our Queen and runners-up are awarded anywhere from $1200-$1500 to be used to continue their education. Our 2012 RoseQueen Scholarship sponsorship ranged from a one year tuition valued at $3000. at JCC, Two year tuition valued at $8000.00 at Baker College or a Two year tuition scholarship valued at 12,600.00 at Spring Arbor University. In addition to these wonderful scholarship opportunities, competing in the RoseQueen pageant will reinforce leadership, poise, philanthropy and life skills that can be used as each participant moves into adulthood. The preliminary pageant application process has been extended through April 10th. Prelims will take place on April 21st and the RoseQueen pageant will take place on August 17th.
