The freshman/JV football
team defeated Leslie in a hard fought contest by a score of 38-30.
The
panthers trailed the Blackhawks by a score of 22-6 early in the third
quarter and then scored 24 unanswered points
to set up a dramatic final two minutes. Leslie tied the score at 30
apiece with 1:30 left on the clock but the young Panther team was not
going to be denied as they marched 70 yards and scored the winning
touchdown with thirty seconds left on the clock. Freshman Mason
Callow intercepted a Leslie pass to end the game and secure the victory.
The freshman/JV team now has a record of 4-1.
